Hi im Arie Miller from first period. The main character is Sarny who is a slave. She was married to another slave named Martin. They had 2 kids that were gave to another man who sold them. She is a slave that is, in a way, free. i say this because her owner, waller, was killed and sarny ran away for "freedom" but really she left for her kids because they were taken from her and she wants them back.there names are tyler and delie. sshe is also with a girl named lucy. Hi I'm Alex Kiser from 7th period. I agree that the main character is Sarny because she is the character talking in the story. Sarny is a slave on the Waller plantation and she is in her 20's.
