Conflicts - What are the major problems? Why are they problems?
Hi im Arie Miller from first period. The are 3 major conflicts in the story. One is that Sarny is still a slave and even though she is free from Waller does not mean that she is free for life. Another problem is that there is a war going on between slavery and that will effect Sarnys life big time. Sarny kids have been sold and she has to find them she knows where there at be will she be able to get there.

Hi im Chase Glenn from 5th period. I think the conflicts are, Sarny doesnt know how to get to new orleans and she doesnt even know where it is. Another problem is shes going to start running out f food and she really doesnt have a place to sleep.

Hey it's Alex Kiser from period 7. Sarny has had a pretty bad series of events happen so far in this book. First, her husband, Martin, died. Then, Waller, the owner of the plantation and the slaves got addicted to gambling and drinking and eventually had to sell off his slaves. He sold both of Sarny's children. Waller gets killed by a soldier so Sarny decides to run away from the plantation to find her kids.

its arie from 1st period. The definition of external conflict is a struggle between the protaginist(hero) and another character against nature or some other outside force. An example of external conflict is the civil war and it was resolved by the signing of the papers at Appomattix Courthouse.
Hey hey hey. Its Chase Glenn from 5th period. I cant feel my bottom! The definition of external conflict, i think, is a struggle between a person and an outide event. ARIE I DON'T KNOW MAN YOU LET ME DOWN. IM NOT SURE WHAT YOURS IS. Any whoo, my example of external conflict was when greenson took Sarny's childeren and she got mad. <---- Man versus man.
Hey, It's ALEX KISER from 7th period. The definition of internal conflict is a problem that occurs within a character. (Their thoughts) That is Man vs Himself. An example of that is how Sarny felt after her children got taken away or after her husband died. Sarny's Conflict through most of the story was the fact that her kids were taken away from her. It was solved when She went all the way to New Orleans and got the man to bring them to Miss Laura's house. œ∑´®†¥¨ˆøπåß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬…æ÷≥≤µ˜∫√ç≈Ω¡™££¢∞§¶•ªº–≠«‘“π…÷÷≤˚∆˜∫©ƒ©˙∆˚˜∫√ç≈ß∂®†¥∆µ˜∫√ç≈ß∂®†¥¨ˆ˚˜∫√ç≈ß∂
